The Show

First of all, of course, I will always be grateful to everyone involved in the creation of Sherlock, the BBC series which inspired all the pictures and accounted for so many hours in front of my television. And I mean everyone – writers, producers, actors, and all the unseen individuals, like special effects people, camera operators, make-up and costume experts, drivers, caterers, note-takers and diary-bookers – in fact, hundreds of jobs I probably never heard of, but if they were part of bringing Sherlock to the screen, I’m grateful!

Transcripts

Despite all the times I’ve watched each episode, I can’t claim to know the scripts by heart. Thankfully, one dedicated soul has written out transcripts – and they are fantastic reading, including little notes and comments and jokes too. I am enormously grateful to Ariane de Vere, for her astonishing transcripts at https://arianedevere.livejournal.com/

Friends

Special thanks to those who have supported me, helped with creation of the pictures, including finding themselves at various times holding toys in busy streets or on windswept moorland, especially Lucy Ward, Rebecca D’Arcy-Howard, Michael Herron, Sarah Johnson.
